Irony

I stopped by Seven-Eleven tonight to get some Dr. Pepper. There was a sign on the cash register that read "Please do not use cell phones while checking out," or something like that. The guy who rang me up was talking on his cell phone as he did so. And that, my friends, is irony.

I had a waitress at a Denny's do this to me. I kept looking around for the manager, thought maybe I'd tattle tale.

Turned out the manager was off duty. Taking a personal call probably.

one of my biggest pet peeves... back home i work at a restaurant, i hate when customers order on their cell phone...and then complain because their order came out wrong...well, i wonder why. it couldn't be because they weren't paying attention...
